Vigillo, creators of data mining software products designed to aggregate, organize and deliver complex fleet safety information in an easy-to-read scorecard format, announced at the American Trucking Associations’ Information Technology & Logistics Council and National Accounting & Finance Council 2010 Annual Conference that Chicago-based Aon Risk Services has joined the company’s recently created Partner Program. The world’s largest insurance broker, Aon fleet clients have more than 100,000 power units.

“There are two events that help us decide whether to create partnerships,” says David Mitchell, director of Risk Control & Safety for Aon. “We either create a partnership with a vendor to help our business revenue, or we create a partnership because we feel a vendor adds great value for our clients, and we are not directly increasing our revenue. Aon has formed this partnership with Vigillo because we feel they provide great value for our clients and is a way to assist them, not a way to gain business revenue. Safety performance is important to every client, and we feel that Vigillo’s services will help our clients improve their performance.”

Other Vigillo Partners include Great West Casualty, HNI Truck Group, Impact Transportation Solutions, Cottingham & Butler Truck Insurance Group, the American Trucking Associations, True North, Cline Wood and Gallagher Speciality Risk. “We are very pleased with the rapid success of our Partner Program,” says Steve Bryan, president of Vigillo. “We created our Partner Program so we can stick to what we do best, which is to take piles of information and turn it into easy-to-decipher and practical facts while letting our partners do what they do best, which is to be a trusted adviser to their customers. Our scorecards aren’t just simply pulling the free information from the FMCSA website – we take that information and actually make sense of it.”
