FleetPride Inc., an independent aftermarket distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts, has opened a new 9,000-square-foot location in Salisbury, Md., in the commercial hub of the Delmarva Peninsula at 1807 Northwood Drive, Suite A. FleetPride now owns and operates 10 locations in Maryland.

“Our expansion into Salisbury better positions FleetPride to serve our local and national customers in southeast Maryland who were previously served through the locations in Dover, Delaware, and Richmond, Virginia,” says Pete Painter, Southeast Region vice president and general manager. “FleetPride’s ability to quickly source hard-to-find parts and extensive product inventory will help us earn new business from Salisbury’s agricultural and transportation industries.”

The new Salisbury facility will be led by branch manager Ronnie Rash, an industry veteran who brings 37 years of experience in heavy-duty truck and trailer parts. Together, Rash and his team boast a combined 60 years of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts experience.

“Opening the Salisbury location exemplifies one aspect of FleetPride’s steady and consistent growth strategy – specifically, our willingness to enter into greenfield markets when appropriate,” says W.M. McGee, president and chief executive officer. “When we bring our strategic growth model to new markets like Salisbury, Maryland, it enhances our national footprint and rapid delivery capabilities. As we continue to expand our scale, we will focus on maintaining our core value proposition – strong local market presence, on-time delivery and exceptional customer service.”
