The latest on California’s regulations

California is finalizing or about to enforce several major regulations that affect equipment management for fleets operating there whether or not they are based in the state. The rules directly address engine technology, aerodynamics, tires and trailer refrigeration and could have a significant impact on carriers throughout the country. Michael Tunnell, director of environmental affairs for the American Trucking Associations, will bring fleet managers up to speed on what they will need to do to operate legally in California.
