Detroit Diesel 2010 ‘Demand It All Tour’ travels to Canada

Detroit Diesel Corp. now is taking its lineup of engines and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency 2010-compliant BlueTec emissions technology on the road across Canada. The “Demand It All Tour” trailer showcases Detroit Diesel’s DD13, DD15 and DD16 engines with BlueTec, an emissions control technology developed to meet EPA standards for 2010 and beyond.

Visitors to the display will experience a full-size DD15 engine as well as a cutaway of the BlueTec emissions technology 1-Box emissions package. The trailer also will feature diagrams of the BlueTec 1-Box and dual package configurations as well as a kiosk explaining the BlueTec system and how selective catalytic reduction works; the diesel exhaust fluid gauge operation also will be on display. In addition, visitors will be invited to try out the trailer’s fuel economy calculator, simulations and comparisons, and watch product videos and customer testimonials as well as review horsepower, torque and displacement range information.

Information provided at the Detroit Diesel “Demand It All Tour” trailer pairs engines with best-performing trucks among the Freightliner and Western Star brands. It also features information on features of Detroit Diesel engines. The tour trailer may be seen on Tuesday, July 27, at Camions Freightliner Quebec; and Friday, July 30, at DDAC East, Moncton, New Brunswick.
