Greatwide Logistics Services, a national provider of third-party logistics services, has hired Steve Elliott as vice president of brokerage, accountable for all of Greatwide’s brokerage business, which includes Cargo-Master and Gallop Logistics.
Elliott is joining Greatwide after spending 17 years with Schneider National Inc., where he held senior leadership roles in its Truckload, Intermodal and Brokerage divisions. While there, he grew the company’s intermodal business revenue from 20 loads per month to more than 1,000 loads per month in less than one year. In addition, he led a turnaround in the profitability of the company’s less-than-truckload product.
“Steve is an innovative leader who will play a key role in our accelerated brokerage growth plans,” says Tyler Ellison, Greatwide’s group president of transportation management and corporate sales. “His past experience will serve him well as we make additional investments in our overall brokerage and transportation management businesses.”
Elliott is a Certified Supply Chain Professional, Master of Process Reengineering and a Six Sigma Green Belt.
