The Carlisle Companies has opened its new Carlisle Brake & Friction global headquarters in Solon, Ohio. The decision to move Carlisle Brake & Friction was made after the company acquired Hawk Corp.’s Wellman Products Group in December, Carlisle says. All of Carlisle’s brake and friction operations will be based out of the Solon location, as will Hawk’s corporate headquarters.
“We are very excited about the move to our new headquarters in Solon, and the integration of the two businesses,” says Chris Koch, Carlisle Brake & Friction president. “As we drive to create the number-one global supplier in high-performance braking solutions, our customers will continue to enjoy the same level of service and commitment they have experienced for the past 50 years.”
