Accellos, a provider of supply chain execution software solutions, announced the latest version of Accellos One Workspace, its composite application framework designed to provide the foundation for its current and future products.
“With Version 2.2 of our Workspace framework, we’ve fully incorporated and endorsed ‘cloud computing’ as part of our present and future direction,” says Ross Elliott, chief technology officer. “By certifying Workspace with Microsoft Windows Azure and SQL Azure, we provide our customers with an unprecedented breadth of delivery options, from on-premise to fully in the ‘cloud,’ all supported from a single code base.”
Version 2.2 of Accellos One Workspace is currently in limited beta release and is planned for a March general release. “Besides focusing on the cloud, we’ve incorporated new features like integration with Microsoft Lync Unified Communications Server to allow for ‘presence-aware’ applications and integrated collaboration,” Elliott says. “And we’ve built in a comprehensive multitenant and identity claim system to allow for secured visibility for our customer’s extended enterprise.”
