Kenworth Truck Co. will offer the Hendrickson Primaax EX rear air suspension for the T270 and T370 front drive axle-equipped medium-duty models. The announcement was made in conjunction with The Work Truck Show, which runs this week in Indianapolis.
“Kenworth continues to expand its suspension offering with quality products that help meet customer requirements in demanding vocational applications,” says Judy McTigue, Kenworth director of marketing planning and research. “The Hendrickson Primaax EX really fits well with Kenworth’s T270 and T370 4×4 trucks introduced last summer. These dependable vehicles – with factory-installed front drive axles – can provide excellent performance and low lifecycle cost to vocational operators who prefer running medium-duty trucks to get the job done.”
The Primaax EX suspension, suited for vocational and severe-duty applications, offers added durability and component life for enhanced uptime, as well as an enhanced ride by reducing road shock from rugged terrain for less wear and tear on the driver, truck and equipment, according to Hendrickson.
The suspension, which has a 15.5-inch ride height, will be available to Kenworth medium-duty customers in ratings of 23,000 and 26,000 pounds with a single rear axle.
