Facing the challenges of the toughest roads and driving conditions in North America, Continental Tire the Americas is showcasing its newest tires for the severe service market at the 2011 CONEXPO–CON/AGG exposition in Las Vegas, Nev.

Two new tires will be on display at the Continental/General Tire booth (H-30821) that prove Continental’s commitment to the construction and severe-duty trucking customer, says Clif Armstrong, director of commercial vehicle tire marketing for the Americas. Continental’s new waste haul truck tire, the HSU2+, and the General Grabber OA Wide Base, an all-position aggressive tire launched in 2010, are the centerpieces of this year’s exhibit.

“Continental is committed to providing nothing but the best in severe-duty truck tires,” Armstrong says. “Both the HSU2+ and the Grabber OA Wide Base are examples of how our specialized engineering for heavy- and severe-duty traffic in the North American markets has paid off, with durable truck tires that you can count on for extended lifetimes and tough characteristics.”
