Integrated Freight Corp. on Tuesday, March 22, announced the appointment of Henry P. “Hank” Hoffman to the position of president and chief operating officer. Hoffman brings more than 25 years of executive management experience in the transportation industry to Integrated Freight.

“The expansion of Hank’s role from board member to the position of president and COO is a great development for our company, and one that we have been pursuing for a long time,” says Paul Henley, chief executive officer of Sarasota, Fla.-based Integrated Freight. “His connections with suppliers and operators at the highest levels of the trucking industry will be invaluable as Integrated Freight continues with its nationwide expansion plans.”

Most recently, Hoffman served as president of SeaBridge Freight, a short sea intermodal barge operation. Before joining SeaBridge, he was the founder and chairman of SiriComm Inc., a wireless networking and applications service provider dedicated to the commercial trucking industry. As an industry leader, he has been a vice president of the American Trucking Association, president and chairman of the Board of the Munitions Carriers Conference, member of the board of directors of the National Automobile Transporters Association, and forum co-chairman of the National Defense Transportation Association. Prior to his trucking industry career, Hoffman served as an officer in the U.S. Army Field Artillery for six years, where he completed two successful command assignments.
