EBE Technologies, a provider of enterprise content management, workflow and business process automation solutions for the trucking industry, announced CSA Carrier Board. EBE developed this new web-based application for logistics companies to monitor the safety performance of carriers as part of the capacity sourcing process. However, it can also be used by carriers to monitor the performance of their competitors, the company says.

The CSA Carrier Board feeds into EBE’s SHIPS Logistics Management Workflow, a platform used by brokers, 3PL’s and other transportation companies operating logistics divisions within their organizations. This SHIPS platform is designed to manage the end to end processes associated with the management and processing of carriers within the logistics network.

When used with the SHIPS Logistics Management Workflow, CSA Carrier Board can be used to qualify carriers and monitor CSA safety scores in an automated fashion. For instance, logistics companies could link carrier CSA scores to their dispatch and document management systems to automatically generate letters to carriers or to document their carrier CSA scores at the time of dispatch, says Larry Kerr, president of EBE Technologies.

SHIPS Logistics Management also documents compliance, automates rate confirmations, provides shipment status and generates invoices and settlements, the company says.
