RLI Transportation, a division of RLI Insurance Co., announced a new venture/startup truck insurance program that provides new 1- or 2-power unit trucking businesses with coverage for auto and general liability, physical damage, cargo and nontruck liability. RLI says it started the new program to help small trucking companies obtain affordable insurance while they are getting their business off the ground.
RLI currently is offering special discounts to businesses that drive Peterbilt and Kenworth trucks. Startup 1- or 2-power unit trucking companies interested in this program can access coverage through an agent.
