Clore Automotive announced that a donation of $5,000 recently was presented to the Dream Factory of Greater Kansas City. “The Dream Factory works to bring happiness to the lives of children facing very difficult circumstances,” says Jim Chasm, president and chief executive officer of Clore Automotive. “Everyone at Clore Automotive was excited to participate in this effort and happy that we could work toward such a worthy goal.”

During 2010, a portion of the proceeds from the sale of Solar model PI1500XCD were set aside to benefit the Dream Factory in order to bring a dream to life for a child who faces a life-threatening or chronic illness. “The effort was a great success thanks to the support of our many channel partners and resellers,” says Jim O’Hara, vice president of marketing for Clore Automotive. “Their active and enthusiastic support made a huge impact on the program.”

The Greater Kansas City Chapter of the Dream Factory was founded in January 1985. The Dream Factory’s mission is to grant dreams and provide special times to children who are critically or chronically ill. From trips to Disneyland to meeting someone special, the Dream Factory has made thousands of dreams come true for children.
