USA Truck Inc. on Thursday, May 19, announced that it was presented with the 2010 Dedicated Carrier of the Year Award at the Transplace Shipper Symposium in Dallas. This award was one of five annual awards given this year to the Transplace carrier network. “This distinguished award was a result of statistical and qualitative metrics for on-time service, shipment count, annual revenue and ease of doing business,” says Brandon Hamilton, general manager of capacity solutions for Transplace.
Jay Gasaway, USA Truck national sales manager, accepted the award on behalf of the Van Buren, Ark.-based company. “USA Truck is proud to serve Transplace, and we are honored by the recognition from one of our valued customers,” says Cliff Beckham, USA Truck president and chief executive officer. “We are committed to providing all of our customers with superior and innovative transportation solutions.
