QA Technologies, a provider of fleet management solution products, announced the continuation of its North American expansion strategy by partnering with U.S. trucking insurance provider Shawn Hoffman of Ed Sanford Insurance. QA Technologies says the exclusive agreement gives Hoffman the right to market and sell its products in the Southern states of Mississippi, Alabama and Louisiana.

Hoffman plans to distribute two core technologies: AccutrAVL, an automatic vehicle location system with reporting capabilities designed to improve fleet safety and driver productivity; and AccutreQ.net, a fleet management device designed to offer automatic electronic driver logs, real-time two-way communications, onboard mapping, integrated tire pressure monitoring, fleet productivity measurement tools and reports to aid in solutions for fleet operating savings.

Brock Eidem, chief executive officer of QA Technologies, say he was impressed with Hoffman’s knowledge and his desire to “step outside the box” to provide solutions for his clients. “Seldom do I meet an insurance provider with complete knowledge of CSA 2010 and all of the rules and regulations that are currently proposed for the trucking industry,” Eidem says. “It is truly our pleasure to have the opportunity to be represented by a professional who cares as much about his clients as we do about ours.”

Hoffman says he plans to work with other insurance providers in his exclusive territories to offer the QA Technologies product lines to their clients. “With electronic onboard recorders about to be mandated, and hours-of-sService Regulations changing, I have an obligation to ensure my clients are provided with the most up-to-date technology available, and QA Technologies satisfies that need,” he says.
