The National Tank Truck Carriers announced that Gregory Hodgen has been elected as the organization’s new chairman at NTTC’s recent annual meeting in Baltimore. Hodgen succeeds Steven Rush, chief executive officer of New Jersey-based Carbon Express Inc., who now serves as chairman of the NTTC’s executive committee.

Prior to being named president and chief operating officer of Groendyke Transport Inc., one of the largest tank truck carriers in the nation, Hodgen served the company as its executive vice president and its vice president of operations prior to that.

“This is a particularly exciting time to be part of the NTTC,” Hodgen says. “I am both pleased and honored to serve as NTTC chairman. I believe that the organization is well-positioned to champion the tank truck industry’s commitment to safety and success for those whom we serve. I look forward to working with our membership as we advance our vision to set the leading standard for safe and sustainable transportation as one of the most vital segments of the trucking industry.”
