Kerry Logistics has started construction on its 26,000-square-meter Wuxi Logistics Center in China, which will have a capacity of 10,000 tonnes when it is completed in the fourth quarter of 2012.

Kerry says the facility will be the first logistics center in the Southern Jiangsu Province to focus on the electronics and hi-tech, auto spare parts, retail, pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. The facility will offer services including warehousing, value-added services, distribution and freight.

“This is an important milestone for Kerry Logistics to meet the needs of our growing customer base in Jiangsu Province,” says Edwardo Erni, managing director of Mainland China for Kerry.
