TMW Systems, a provider of enterprise transportation software, issued a statement late Wednesday, June 29, to clarify that it was not the similarly named company that recently was fined by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
EPA issued a press release earlier on Wednesday, June 29, saying that it had fined TMW Corporation $100,000 for violations of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. EPA listed TMW Corporation’s address as 14660 Arminta St. in Van Nuys, Calif.
TMW Systems, headquartered in Beachwood, Ohio, says it is not associated in any way with the company fined by EPA.
