New York/New Jersey Port board OKs $3.7M in roadway improvements

At its recent monthly meeting, the New York/New Jersey Port Authority Board of Commissioners authorized $3.7 million in planning for certain roadway improvements at Port Newark to increase roadway capacity, improve traffic flow and enhance safety.

The board says the work will generate 490 jobs and $29.6 million in wages.
