Chevin Fleet Solutions, a developer of local and global fleet management solutions, has unveiled FleetWave2, the latest version of its online fleet management system. Chevin says FleetWave2 will set new benchmarks for fleet software in terms of transparency-of-costs, flexibility and ease-of-use. With its new and improved features such as the graphically-based drill-down reports and KPI’s, enhanced speed and sleek user interface, FleetWave2 provides data designed for fleet managers to effectively manage and control their fleets.
Chevin says the new upgraded version of its flagship product gives fleet managers the ability to instantly and intuitively drill down to investigate fleet data, benchmark a fleet in real time through a simple-to-use wizard, order stock in multiple units of measure, manage tires as individual assets that require maintenance and more. Chevin says developing FleetWave2 on the latest Microsoft .NET platform makes the new software easier to tailor to specific customer requirements, deploy more quickly and integrate with legacy systems.
The upgrades to FleetWave2 are the result of customer research carried out by Chevin over the past two years. Forums and discussion groups involving Chevin customers covered topics such as easier reporting, new tools and functionality to proactively manage equipment, ease of use, flexibility and how to increase value for money.
“Understanding the ever-changing economic climate, listening to our customers’ needs and reacting with technological advances to meet these needs is pivotal in our ability to continue to provide market-leading services to our customers around the world,” says Ashley Sowerby, managing director of Chevin Fleet Solutions. “With FleetWave2, organizations can more efficiently manage the fleet which typically represent the most costly and valuable assets within their company, and reap the associated financial and operational rewards.”
