Longistics, Rare Bird sign Childress Vineyards to China exhibition center

Longistics, a full-service provider of global logistics solutions, and Rare Bird Trading Co. announced the signing of Lexington, N.C.-based Childress Vineyards to showcase its products and services at the Suzhou Industrial Park International Commodities Exhibition Center in Suzhou, China. The winery, owned by Richard Childress of NASCAR’s Richard Childress Racing, will stock, promote and sell merchandise, products and services at the Exhibition Center, set to celebrate its grand opening in late fall 2011.

The Suzhou Industrial Park International Commodities Exhibition Center offers companies the opportunity to reach millions of new customers interested in purchasing their products or services. It is a continuous exhibition space that can be used as a forward staging area of products or services for sale and distribution in China, as well as re-export to other Pacific Rim countries.

Childress Vineyards is a full-service winemaker with locally made offerings. The Childress complex features a 35,000-square-foot facility that houses wine tasting rooms, banquet halls and a bistro. It offers house wines, varietals and Childress signature wines.
