Jacobs Vehicle Systems, a supplier of heavy-duty engine retarding and valve actuation solutions, was named “Best Plant Worldwide” for 2011 by its parent company. Jacobs says the award is based on its performance as measured against the company’s core value drivers, which include metrics for safety, quality, delivery and associate development.
“Jacobs accomplished these results through continued practice and implementation of our lean business system” says Rob Tykal. “Our associates have worked hard to position Jacobs for success in all types of economic climates, and this award confirms we are on the right track.”
