TransCore announced that its Truckload Rate Index solution now is available as an integrated feature of McLeod Software’s LoadMaster and PowerBroker transportation management solutions. Truckload Rate Index provides a set of rate analysis tools and two rate databases: one for the spot freight market and one for contract freight.
TransCore says that with instant access to its Truckload Rate Index, McLeod’s customers can validate freight rates quickly in their current markets and lanes, or analyze pricing strategies in new markets. By clicking a command button on McLeod’s LoadMaster or PowerBroker systems “quick quote” screen, customers can call up a display of point-to-point rates, rate history, demand and capacity indices and maps for that specific lane.
