Five Star Specialty Programs, a division of Crump Insurance Services Inc. and part of insurance wholesaler Crump Group Inc., announced new markets for the Auto Dealers program that extends coverage to all states except Arkansas, Connecticut, Washington D.C., Hawaii, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey and Rhode Island.

DealerSure is a multiline program providing coverage for rural and suburban franchised and nonfranchised auto or truck dealerships. Retail agents submit one application for coverage, and a quote is provided to the retail agent with the Five Star appointed market for that state.

Michael Oliver, senior vice president of Five Star Specialty Programs, says the geographical extension of the program was made possible by the special arrangement between Five Star and three markets. “We’ve had inquiries from our retail agents ever since we started this program to provide coverage in more states,” Oliver says. “We will continue to work with carriers to expand further.”

Coverage is available for consignment sales, electric auto sales, golf cart dealers, motorcycle dealers, nonfranchised or small franchised retail auto or truck dealers, RV dealers, small auto auctions/wholesale dealers and trailer dealers. Repair shops for the above dealerships also are eligible.
