Wingfoot Commercial Tire Systems, a subsidiary of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., has opened its 41st Wingfoot Truck Care Center, a full-service facility in Berkshire, Ohio, located on a Flying J property just north of Columbus at Exit 131 along Interstate 71.
The three-bay facility provides oil changes and other preventive maintenance services; light mechanical services such as brake, electrical and heating/air conditioning repair; and 24/7 roadside assistance. In addition, the new Wingfoot Truck Care Center offers Goodyear and Dunlop truck tires, plus retreaded tires.
Wingfoot Truck Care Centers, along with Boss Truck Shops Inc. and Highway Service Ventures/Patriot Farms Flying J, are members of Goodyear’s Uni-Maxx Truck Care network, which encompasses nearly 80 locations from coast to coast.
“Uni-Maxx is dedicated to establishing a nationwide network of on-highway truck service shops that provide a consistent product and service offering and are committed to professional service for every customer,” says Clint Schrock, director of on-highway operations for Goodyear. “Our intent is that the Uni-Maxx Truck Care network will continue to grow, fueled in part by the addition of more Wingfoot Truck Care Center locations.”
