LinkAmerica Corp., a regional asset-based transportation and logistics services provider, announced a major upgrade to its fleet operations. Starting immediately, LinkAmerica will be replacing 575 pieces of equipment as part of its new fleet trade cycle program. This entails tractors from Freightliner and Peterbilt, as well as 53-foot plate trailers from Stoughton. Additionally, LinkAmerica says it has enhanced its driver recruiting and retention efforts as part of its “best-in-class” initiative.

“Replacing 20 percent of our fleet with new equipment, combined with our focus on our professional drivers, is part of our commitment to provide superior service to our customers and to be positioned to grow as customer demand grows,” says John Simone, president and chief executive officer. “Improved performance from this upgrade will help us meet and exceed the service levels defined by our customers.”
