The National Tank Truck Carriers announced that Monica Mastracco has been named manager of member relations. Mastracco returns to the tank truck industry after having worked for various associations throughout the greater Washington, D.C. area, including the Philanthropy Roundtable and the American Legislative Exchange Council. She garnered her first experience in the tank truck industry as a college student working in the safety and compliance department of a leading tank truck carrier in her hometown of Canton, Ohio. After earning her degree from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Ind., she headed to the Beltway to begin her career in association work through a variety of public policy and communication positions.
“We are extremely pleased to have Monica join our team here in Washington,” says Daniel Furth, NTTC vice president. “Her direct tank truck industry experience, coupled with her association and policy background, should really serve our members well as she steps into this new role.”
