MetroGistics, a full-service vehicle transportation company, has announced the hiring of Jeremy Cope as director of logistics operations and the promotion of Dustin Ruch to director of business development.

Cope brings more than nine years of auto transport experience and will oversee several areas of operations for MetroGistics, including assets and logistics, dispatching, key accounts, aging, and track and trace. He will supervise a team of six dedicated to providing excellent service to all clients.

“Jeremy will be a great addition to our staff,” says William Billiter, a managing partner for St. Louis-based MetroGistics. “He is extremely dedicated to customer service and has significant experience running a fleet of trucks and overseeing all auto transport operations.”

Ruch joined MetroGistics in July 2010 as operations manager and will transition to a new role that will leverage his overall industry experience. As director of business development, he will oversee the growth and development of all areas – including technology, operations and sales – in addition to assisting with strategic accounts and major projects.
