J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc. announced its selection as Walmart’s 2011 Intermodal Carrier of the Year. Walmart has selected J.B. Hunt as Intermodal Carrier of the Year for 10 of the past 11 years.
In a letter of commendation to J.B. Hunt, Ken Braunbach, senior director of carrier Relations for Walmart, wrote: “We realize the continued pressure and challenges facing the transportation industry. Your ability to rise above these obstacles has won our utmost trust and confidence. We look forward to a long and rewarding partnership.”
