Glacier Computer, a developer of rugged industrial computing solutions, announced the Everest S9000 stainless-steel rugged computer terminal now provides a NEMA4/IP65 power supply and I/O. The AC power supply, I/O connectors and cables are available with a NEMA4/IP65 rating.

The S9000 is suitable for conditions that require a water-resistant terminal, such as food processing, outdoor kiosks, clean rooms and some marine applications. Optional non-NEMA/IP rated power supply, I/O connectors and cables are available.

“We designed the Everest S9000 for a valued customer in food processing who needed a rugged computer terminal that could withstand caustic daily washdowns and consistently perform to the same standard as the Everest series models they were currently using,” says Dan Poisson, director of engineering for Glacier. “The S9000 stainless-steel terminal provides a smooth casing with a flush-mount resistive touch panel and sealed IO connectors, making it virtually waterproof.”
