Dupré Logistics announced a new contract with a major oil producer to provide truck takeaway capacity for crude oil in the Eagle Ford shale play, a growing energy sector in southwest Texas. As part of the agreement, Dupré will provide truck and driver capacity, along with onsite management. Dupré says it will provide a full range of services with hands-on support.

Dupré’s President and COO Tom Voelkel said, “Partnerships in this growing energy sector have needs that go beyond day-to-day hauling,” says Tom Voelkel, president and chief operating officer. “We feel we can meet our client’s needs by providing work that has a need for safety, quality, collaboration and scalability.”

Dupré says dedicated trucks and drivers will allow its partner to plan further ahead and ensure high utilization. The company says it will offer a full range of services in addition to hauling pipes, equipment, mats, water, sand and chemicals.
