Top executives from private fleet, truck leasing, truckload carrier and transportation supply chain companies in North America will explore global transportation industry trends and share best practices at the AmeriQuest Transportation Industry Symposium, set for April 12-13 in Orlando, Fla.
This year’s event gathers industry experts for discussions on key issues facing many aspects of transportation. The keynote speaker at this year’s event is Billy Beane, Major League Baseball executive and “Moneyball” subject. Other featured speakers are Jeb Bush, former Florida governor and political consultant; Gary Petty, president and chief executive officer of the National Private Truck Council; Brian Cota, vice president of sales for Daimler Trucks North America; and Ron Huibers, president of Volvo Trucks North America sales and marketing.
John Larkin, managing director of Stifel, Nicolaus & Co., a financial services and investment banking firm, also will address the gathering, as will Terry Young, president of Advantage Truck Leasing. Educational sessions are scheduled for mornings and afternoons on both daysm and on Thursday evening, the symposium will present the AmeriQuest Trade and Technology Reception.
