The new facility is on State Highway 22 one mile north of Killdeer and 35 miles north of Dickinson, N.D., and Interstate 94. Open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week, it provides parts and service for all makes of dry and liquid-bulk tank trailers and truck-mounted tank bodies.

Initially, technicians from other Polar Service Center locations will staff the facility on a rotating basis and be housed onsite.

Other services at Killdeer include CHM-183 and U.S. Department of Transportation inspections, as well as brake, suspension and other preventive maintenance work. The phone number is 701-264-8126.

“We’re excited to provide tank parts and service in the Bakken Shale district,” says Mike Evans, president of Polar Service Centers. “Already, there’s tremendous demand for aftermarket parts and experienced technicians who can work on any brand of tank.”
