The Dossier User Group will hold its annual Summit this year in New Orleans from Tuesday, Oct. 23, through Thursday, Oct. 25. The conference will be preceded by an optional Day of Service to help rebuild the city. Dossier is the maintenance management software from Arsenault Associates.

This year’s event will offer opportunities prior to and after the regular conference. Those who wish to take part in a day of helping to rebuild New Orleans can arrive Monday evening, Oct. 22, to enjoy a welcome dinner hosted by Arsenault Associates prior to a day of community service and team building on Tuesday working on a Habitat for Humanity project. Neighborhoods inundated by Hurricane Katrina in 2005 still are being restored. Attendees also will have the option to register for post-conference hands-on training on Friday, Oct. 26.

The Dossier User Group Summit offers participants the chance to be updated on Dossier, including features added this past year, as well as a preview of future versions. They will be able to select specific topics from a newly formatted 2012 conference schedule and work with Dossier fleet consultants to “tune up” their installations and get the most from Dossier. During the conference as well as at events before and after, everyone will have the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with other Dossier users.

“The Dossier Users Group Summit is the largest collection of Dossier expertise in the world, a huge knowledge and experience pool for attendees to draw upon,” says Bob Hausler, vice president of marketing and technology for Arsenault. “From a pure dollars-and-cents perspective, the training part of the event alone justifies the cost. By adding a training day to the end of the meeting, attendees can maximize their return on their travel and time investment.”

Additional details and guest speakers will be announced when arrangements are confirmed.
