Dan Shoemaker has been appointed general manager of JX Peterbilt-Green Bay in DePere, Wis. Shoemaker is a 24-year veteran with JX Enterprises, the company that owns and operates the full-service Peterbilt commercial vehicle dealership.
Shoemaker most recently was service director for all 15 JXE dealership locations. His other positions with the company include service technician, service adviser and service manager.
“Dan has consistently exceeded expectations in every role he has had with our company, steadily advancing and gaining greater responsibilities,” says Randy Buening, vice president of operations. “He continually exhibits innovative approaches to complex challenges and brings an analytical method to problem solving and process improvement.”
Shoemaker helped advance the way the company approaches service management through the implementation and deployment of software that helps service departments schedule and track the status of repairs while measuring the time and other resources needed to complete each job. He also has extensive experience working with a wide range of customers, including municipalities and large fleets.
