Hunter Engineering Co. has been recognized as a 2011 Partner in Transformation and has received the CEO Award for Innovation from Sears Holdings Corp. for making a significant contribution to the growth of Sears Auto Center business by providing new technologies to better serve Sears customers.
Sears Holdings granted the awards to an elite group of supplier companies who have been helping support the transformation of Sears Holdings through innovation around customers, core retail excellence and financial and operational discipline. Of the more than 30,000 suppliers that work with Sears Holdings, less than one half of a percent receive these awards. Hunter Engineering also received the CEO Award for Innovation.
Recipients are selected from nominations submitted by Sears Holdings’ associates who purchased goods and services from suppliers in 2011. “We applaud Sears for pioneering improved ways to help automotive customers,” says Stephen Brauer, Hunter Engineering chairman. “Hunter’s employees are proud and grateful to receive the highly-coveted CEO Award for Innovation and for being named a Partner in Transformation.”
