Hornady Transportation announced the addition of Beth Steed as logistics manager to Hornady Logistics. Steed was employed with Boyd Logistics from 2000 to 2008 and from 2008 until recently with Steel on Wheels, as the in-house carrier for CMC in Greenville, S.C. She has had previous experience in customer service, sales, dispatch and as a truck coordinator.
Steed has received numerous industry awards, including winning the 2006 Boyd Brothers/Boyd Logistics Above & Beyond Award, inclusion in the 2005 Who’s Who Among America’s Transportation Professionals and being named as Boyd Logistics’ 2003 Coordinator of the Year.
