Carrier Logistics Inc. (CLI) and Apacheta announced a partnership whereby Apacheta’s mobile proof-of-delivery application, TransportACE, has been fully integrated with CLI’s FACTS freight management system.

“Drivers can keep in touch with dispatchers, terminals, and back-office users via the CLI FACTS system,” says Ken Weinberg, CLI vice president.  “Drivers can handle all mobile workflows at each stop, including signature capture, without the paper.”

“We are always looking for ways that our system can be engineered to bring further benefits to our customers,” Weinberg adds.  “To do this, we search for best in breed partners like Apacheta to boost our already robust product line.”

CLI says that the combination will support trucking company requirements such as varying stop types, trailer switching, non-standard pickups and tracking high-value or dangerous shipments.  Customers can receive clean invoices and electronic delivery receipts.

“We are pleased to partner with CLI to streamline mobile pick-up and delivery for CLI customers,” says Kent Warrum, vice president-sales at Apacheta.  “Apacheta and CLI understand that each carrier’s operations are different, and both offer solutions easily tailored to a particular customer’s processes.”
