Kadinger Express has moved quickly in its introduction of Transflo scanning applicatons to shorten receivable cycle times and to improve driver efficiency by requiring drivers to utilize Transflo Express truck stop scanning, Transflo Now in-cab scanning and Transflo Mobile smartphone scanning – all from Pegasus TransTech.

Pegasus TransTech is the largest provider of document scanning applications to the transportation industry. Kadinger Express, a Kenosha, Wis.-based cargo van carrier, provides time-sensitive service nationwide with a fleet of 35 company-owned vans and a number of owner operators. The company is strategically located between Milwaukee and Chicago, IL, and services customers with nationwide service and 24/7 dispatch.

Kadinger Express began using Transflo Express in April 2014. With more than 950 full-service scan locations, including all Pilot Flying J and Love’s Travel Center stores, Transflo Express is the nation’s largest scanning network with 24/7 availability.

“We have already improved customer satisfaction,” said Brian Pearlman, principal of Kadinger Express. “Verification of delivery to customers  is now almost immediate, receivables have been reduced by an average of five days and drivers are very pleased with the convenience of transmission of load and pay documents”

The high-quality scanned images are instantly transmitted to Kadinger Express’s corporate headquarters where they are integrated with its billing and payroll processes.

Until recently, Kadinger Express gave drivers the option to either fax documents or to drop them off at its office. Recently, the company began requiring its drivers to use TRANSFLO scanning solutions to submit documents, without exception.  Initially apprehensive about effecting this requirement on it drivers, Pearlman says he was pleasantly surprised how well the change was received.

“I initially thought that some would like it and some would hate it.  I am impressed that, without exception, they love it,” Pearlman said. “They no longer have money out of pocket for faxing, their pay is verified and completed much faster and many complete their load document transmission from the convenience of their van utilizing the Transflo Mobile smartphone scanning application.”
