Later this month, 134 technicians from around the country will gather at the Walt Disney Swan & Dolphin Resort to take part in the 10th annual American Trucking Associations’ Technology & Maintenance Council TMCSuperTech National Technician Skills Competition.

The competition will be held September 22-24 in conjunction with TMC’s annual fall meeting.

TMCSuperTech contestants must complete a series of written testing and hands-on trials before moving on to the daylong skills challenge featuring 14 stations testing an array of skills ranging from general truck maintenance and electronic diagnostics to safety and environmental practices.

Winners are recognized across a number of categories, but ultimately only one competitor is named TMCSuperTech Grand Champion.
