amp Trillium, a joint venture between ampCNG and Trillium CNG, has opened a public access compressed natural gas station in Canton, Ohio, to serve Frito-Lay North America, the station’s anchor tenant.
Frito-Lay North America selected Trillium CNG as a station partner to build public fueling infrastructure to serve its fleet of heavy-duty, Class 8 CNG tractor trailers. Frito Lay has one of the largest CNG Fleets in the U.S.
Directly off US 30/US 65 and across from Frito-Lay North America’s Canton, Ohio plant, the amp Trillium station will allow three Class-8 trucks to fuel simultaneously at 10-12 GGE per minute utilizing Trillium CNG’s fast-fill proprietary hydraulic intensifier technology.
“amp Trillium’s CNG station in Canton further expands our growing network of sustainable and efficient fueling stations for large fleets,” said Donna Rolf, president and general counsel of ampCNG. “We’re proud to support one of the largest CNG fleets in the country and to be playing a significant role in the effort to create the economic and environmental opportunity that CNG provides.”
