EpicVue, which provides a premium in-cab satellite TV package for the trucking industry, announced that Hirschbach Motor Lines is outfitting its entire fleet with EpicVue systems.
Based in East Dubuque, Illinois, Hirschbach Motor Lines is a refrigerated carrier with a fleet of over 750 late model tractors and 1,200 trailers. The company specializes in delivering fresh and frozen products across the U.S. with a primary market that extends from the upper Midwest to and from the south, southeast and northeast.
EpicVue in-cab satellite TV systems include an antenna, DVR and 24-inch flat screen TV. Installation takes less than two hours per vehicle. The service provides more than 100 channels of programming, including premium TV services such as HBO, Showtime and NFL Sunday Ticket, for a monthly subscription fee and without any hardware costs.
EpicVue has packaged satellite TV for fleets with 20 or more vehicles for $49 per month under a five-year contract, or $59 monthly for a three-year contract.
“The driver shortage is a severe and costly problem for trucking companies. Providing the comfort and convenience of an affordable satellite TV system that makes truck cabs feel more like home for drivers is an idea that is long overdue,” said Lance Platt, CEO of EpicVue.
The EpicVue in-cab satellite TV system will be on display in a Hirschbach Motor Lines truck in the FlowBelow booth (number 11080) during the Mid-America Trucking Show, March 26-28, 2015, at the Kentucky Expo Center in Louisville.
