Telogis, a SaaS-based connected vehicle technology provider, announced a collaboration with AT&T to implement a worldwide network for its suite of telematics, compliance, and mobile and navigation software products.

Telogis is the exclusive connected commercial vehicle technology provider for Ford Motor Company, powering its factory-installed Ford Telematics solution. Telogis is also working with GM, Hino, Volvo, Mack, Manitowoc Cranes and Isuzu to build its telematics applications into vehicles and equipment in the factory.

AT&T says its service management platform allows Telogis to manage the data, devices and services that support its customers. AT&T also is working with Telogis to help with over the air updates and provide split billing capabilities.

“We are proud to offer Telogis a comprehensive wireless network that enables two-way, real-time data communication between its in-vehicle solution and in-office systems,” said Chris Penrose, senior vice president, Internet of Things (IoT) Solutions, AT&T Mobility.

“Telogis provides mission-critical intelligence for some of the world’s largest mobile businesses and automotive manufacturers, and our customers demand the quality and reliability that only a provider like AT&T can deliver,” added David Cozzens, chief executive officer of Telogis.
