Baylor Trucking’s Bob Baylor passes away

Bob Baylor, president of Indiana-based Baylor Trucking, passed away Sunday, Oct. 25, at age 67.

In addition to being president of his trucking company, Baylor was also heavily involved in the industry by serving on the American Trucking Associations Board of Directors and Nominating Committee, as well as serving on the Truckload Carriers Association Executive and Scholarship Committee. He also served as a chairman of the Indiana Motor Truck Association and received their Founders Award.

“With these positions, he was a passionate advocate for industry safety and innovation for all transportation issues,” his obituary states.

Memorials may be made to Shriner’s Children Hospital or ALS Therapy Development Institute, c/o Bob Baylor Family Memorial.
