One way fleets can improve their business, safety and productivity is by leveraging technology to their advantage.

Fleet managers can learn new ways to do so through breakout sessions at the CCJ Solutions Summit, which will be held Nov. 13-15 in Palm Springs, Calif., at the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort and Spa, outside Los Angeles.

There will be four breakout sessions during the event focusing on technology along three different tracks – compliance, drivers and customers.

With the electronic logging device mandate taking effect Dec. 18, fleets can learn to leverage data from ELDs to improve their safety and productivity in the compliance breakout session titled “Beyond Compliance.”

Two breakouts will be held to help fleets keep their drivers happier to improve retention rates. One breakout, titled “Driver Engagement,” will detail how carriers can channel their human and technological resources to create a better support structure for drivers. Another driver-focused session will go into how fleets can use technology to score drivers and implement performance-based pay, gamification and reward programs.

Finally, on the customer side, a session will key in on business intelligence and how to use it to analyze and visualize customer profitability from different angles to gain a better understanding of a customer’s needs.

Registration is available for $495 for all sessions, meals and a golf or Jeep tour activity, but does not include lodging. Discounted rooms are available during the registration process for $185 per night, not including taxes and fees, until Oct. 11.

CCJ Solutions Summit is open only to fleet management.
