New Zealand-headquartered Coretex has certified its electronic logging devicesolution with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, the company says, making the Coretex ELD a viable option for owner-operators evaluating the ELD market to comply with the ELD rule. The compliance deadline for those not already running an e-log program for hours of service records of duty status remains Dec. 18, 2017.

The Coretex ELD is “compatible with all vehicle types and has been written from the ground up by Coretex engineers,” the company says. The platform uses the company’s existing range of in-vehicle hardware for active fleet management and is tightly integrated into both Coretex 360, the company’s feature-rich fleet management system and Coretex DRIVE, its Android-based in-cab system, which operates in-cab via dedicated tablet (pictured).
