Cargo Transporters (No. 180 in the CCJ Top 250), a 1,600-truck fleet out of Claremont, N.C., has launched an initiative to recruit drivers near the company’s terminal locations as a means to promote more home time and opportunities to visit home during maintenance and schedule changes.

Named “Acres of Diamonds, Focus on Home,” the program also offers a bonus of $2,500 to employees who refer a driver located near one of the company’s terminal locations in North Carolina cities Claremont, Rocky Mount and Charlotte.
