Wipers prompt recall of 5 International models
International Motors is recalling certain 2025 and 2026 HV, HX, LT, MV, and RH vehicles over concern that the linkage that connects the right-side wiper arm to the motor may separate, causing the wipers to fail.
The suspect population was identified by all HV series built Nov. 11, 2024 April 9, 2025; RH series built Nov. 11, 2024 thru March 28, 2025; and HX, LT and MV series built Nov. 11, 2024 thru April 8, 2025.
Dealers will replace the wiper module, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 23. Owners may contact International customer service at 1-800-448-7825. International's number for this recall is 25505.
Bulkmatic first bulk carrier to win ATA's President’s Trophy
Bulkmatic (CCJ Top 250, No. 186), a bulk trucking and rail logistics company based in Indiana, has received the President’s Trophy from the American Trucking Associations (ATA), the highest safety honor from the organization. Bulkmatic ranked as the top carrier in the 25 million to 100 million mile travel category and is the first dry bulk carrier ever to receive the award from ATA.

The President's Trophy goes the top motor carrier in each of three categories based on miles traveled. Each demonstrates superior safety performance across key areas such as driver qualifications, safety management, vehicle maintenance, and accident records. The rigorous selection process is conducted by a panel of industry leaders, law enforcement, and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) officials.
Alabama trucking leader wins Award for Distinguished Service
The Alabama Trucking Association (ATA) has bestowed its highest annual honor, the H. Chester Webb Award for Distinguished Service, to Susan Kirkpatrick of Buddy Moore Transportation.
The award, honoring individuals who have made outstanding contributions to Alabama's trucking industry and the communities they serve, was presented to her by Tim Frazier, last year’s recipient and a senior advisor for ATA.
ATA President & CEO Mark Colson said Kirkpatrick’s lasting impact on the people who work in the industry is tremendous. "She genuinely cares about people and leads with compassion," he said. "She never misses a chance to thank a driver or recognize the individuals who make our industry great. She truly embodies the spirit of an Alabama Trucking legend!"
