This video is an adaptation of a scenario from CCJ’s Preventable or Not manuals. It is presented via a partnership between CCJ and Instructional Technologies. Ahead of a construction zone that constricted the two right-hand lanes on a three-lane stretch of highway, a sports car driver attempted to speed ahead and around a straight truck. The car driver mistimed the pass, however, and hit the straight truck and spun out of control. Could the truck driver have prevented this crash?
