Tellus Power Global Holding Limited announced Monday at the ACT Expo in Las Vegas the launch of its Nexus Megawatt Charging System, a modular high-power solution designed to meet the growing energy demands of the heavy-duty electric vehicle market and the burgeoning AI economy.

The Nexus MCS is the flagship product of the company’s new Nexus platform. It delivers power outputs ranging from 600kW to 1.2MW and is engineered to support multiple charging standards across commercial and utility-scale operations.

The system utilizes a centralized power cabinet paired with distributed dispensers. This architecture allows site operators to manage power distribution across several endpoints synchronously and in real time. By integrating high-power DC charging with system-level management, the company aims to provide more efficient energy allocation as fleet electrification scales.

"As electrification scales toward autonomous and commercial light, medium and heavy-duty transport, charging infrastructure needs to deliver more power to more vehicles at the same time,” said Mike Calise, CEO of Tellus Power.

The rollout addresses a critical bottleneck in the transition to electric transport: the need for greater power density. As heavy-duty fleets and autonomous systems come online, existing infrastructure often struggles to handle the massive, simultaneous energy draws required to keep vehicles moving.

According to Tellus Power, the Nexus platform’s modular design is intended to simplify deployment across various site configurations, helping operators maximize both capacity and equipment utilization.
